Microsoft has recently released the optional cumulative update KB5007262 Preview for Windows 11.
The update is part of Microsoft’s monthly “C” update of November 2021 and contains 70 fixes. To install the update, users are advised to go to Settings, click Windows Update, and then select “Check for Updates.”
As this is an optional update, users are asked to click the Download and Install button before installing it. Once the update is installed, Windows 11 will be updated to version 22000.348. Windows 10 users who wish to install the update can do so manually via the Microsoft Update Catalogue.
Some of the issues that have been resolved include updates to the problem that causes Internet Explorer to stop working, the problem that displays the wrong background for the iFLY Simplified Chinese IME icon in the notification panel, the problem that prevents file explorer and desktop shortcut menus from being displayed, volume control issues that affect Bluetooth audio devices, improved performance of icons in the taskbar, the problem that displays incorrect closed-caption shadows for some videos and much more.
