Amazon has unveiled a new service that allows sellers to keep and distribute inventory on a pay-as-you-go basis within Amazon’s fulfillment network. Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) the new service will help sellers store bulk inventory and facilitate distribution to address supply chain issues.
In a blog post, Gopal Pillai, vice president of Amazon Distribution and Fulfillment Solutions, said, “Amazon Warehousing & Distribution addresses critical supply chain challenges and helps sellers grow and manage their business while significantly cutting costs.”
