AI domain names prices on the rise

Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the hottest technologies in the world right now, and that’s having a ripple effect on the domain name market. Tech start-ups that want to use an AI-related domain name are paying top dollar to secure them.

One example is Ian Leaman, who recently paid $12,000 for the domain name Pantry.ai. Leaman’s business uses AI to help manufacturers of consumer goods accurately calculate how many products they need to manufacture for future orders.

Leaman says he’s happy he secured the memorable website address, even though it was expensive. He says that having a strong noun in the domain name is important for online branding. Another example is the domain name npc.ai, which sold for $250,000 this year. And the domain name service.ai sold for $127,500.

The demand for them is high and AI start-ups are eager to get their hands on AI-related domain names, and investors are also interested in buying them up. Also, the supply of AI domain names is limited. There are only a few hundred AI domain names available, and the best ones have already been taken.
