Data breaches in 2018 put the personal information of millions of individuals at risk. The highest profile incidents involved companies like Facebook and Marriott Starwood hotels, but governments, healthcare operations and regulated industries like financial services increasingly earned the unwanted attention of hackers.
Data breaches happen for a variety of reasons. Some organizations are hacked. Some find themselves in trouble because data has been mishandled by untrained or unauthorized workers. Others still simply have holes in their security system that leaves information unprotected.
The good news is that the bulk of security breaches are preventable. While it may seem that effort to protect information is getting prohibitively expensive and time consuming, it is still possible to enjoy velocity, agility, and security.
Join ITWC CIO Jim Love and Box Canada Government Managing Director, Sonny Hashmi on March 27th for Velocity, Agility & Security: Achieving Success in the Digital Era. In this one-hour webinar, Love and Hashmi explore the current state of cybersecurity, and suggest strategies that will allow all organizations to thrive in a world where a hacker attacks every 39 seconds.
