Tips for weathering the coming IoT storm

A predicted five-fold increase in the number of connected devices deployed to 2027 may spur on technological progress, but for an unwary organization, it will also increase their exposure to cyber-threats.

Many IoT and OT (Operational Technology) devices are vulnerable and easy to hack, coming with out-of-the-box security flaws including weak or hardcoded passwords and OS misconfigurations. Hackers, ever on the hunt for possible entry points into corporate networks, are drawn to these devices.

On June 24 join ITWC CIO and Chief Digital Officer Jim Love and Check Point Software Technologies Head of Engineering Robert Falzon as they explore the ways organizations can benefit from the IoT revolution without sacrificing security. In this hour long webinar, Love and Falzon will cover topics including:

  • The current state of IoT deployments in many enterprises
  • How to identifying often-missed vulnerabilities in your network
  • Finding the balance between productivity, convenience and security
  • Developing a strategy for securing current and future endpoints
