Is it just me, or does the senior manager in this clip look like a more menacing version of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot?
In light of this week's news about HP buying 3Par, I found it interesting to come across this clip from Hitachi Data Systems, which is course is one of the only other major firms to offer the kind of storage technology that competes with 3Par in the upper echelons of the enterprise. Note in this commercial the mention of a “blue chip” firm. It's a nice-looking little sketch. Especially like the part where a server rack turns into a jackpot machine. If HDS can really do that, it'll remain much more valuable than 3Par.
