Juniper Networks will shortly bring out an integrated video monitoring and analysis solution for its M and MX Series routers. StreamScope eRM enables network operators to perform application-layer video stream quality monitoring within edge routing infrastructure, the company said Wednesday. Comprehensive video monitoring solutions based with dedicated appliances are challenging to implement cost-efficiently without compromising performance, scale or network operations, Juniper claims. By fully integrating comprehensive video monitoring capabilities within the high-performance M and MX Series platforms StreamScope eRM eliminates the need for video monitoring specific appliances.
StreamScope eRM uses technology from Triveni Digital, a provider of digital signal monitoring and analysis solutions and subsidiary of LG Electronics (LGE).
