With the rapid increase in security breaches leaving law enforcement struggling to keep up, some organizations are taking the law into their own hands and punishing hackers themselves.

.M. Ericsson Telephone Co. confirmed Monday it has formed a special board committee to oversee the restructuring of the company.

Paris-based systems integrator and management consultant Cap Gemini Ernst & Young announced Thursday the formation of a 50-50 joint venture with global mobile telecommunications operator Vodafone Group PLC. The new company, which has yet to be named, will offer mobile services to corporate customers across Europe, Cap Gemini said.
