The demand for Web services may not be surging as of yet, but Sun Microsystems of Canada Inc. and Burntsand Inc. last month announced they have formed an alliance to offer products in that space.

Sun Microsystems of Canada Inc. is staking out its Web services territory, recently announcing a deal with Burntsand Inc. to develop products in that space.
