Research in Motion Ltd. is working to offer wireless broadband on future Blackberry handhelds. Lucent Technologies Inc. will provide the so-called third-generation wireless network for the devices. Expected in two to five years, 3G networks promise to deliver broadband data speeds to wireless devices. RIM also plans to bundle GoAmerica Inc.’s Go.Web 6.0 wireless Web access service in Blackberry devices.
