If banks let you pay bills on-line, isn’t it silly that you still get the bills through snail mail?
There are companies that allow you to both receive and pay bills on-line, but you’ll wind up with another bill: about $10 a month for the privilege.
“The first to provide on-line bills may be the more Net-savvy financial portals such as Charles Schwab, E-Trade Group or Yahoo. That sets up a potentially tough competitive situation for banks,” says Geoffrey Smith of Business Week e.biz.
