Security technology vendor Websense Inc. released its latest data loss prevention tool designed to identify and locate structured and unstructured sensitive data throughout the organization.
The tool, Data Discover, recognizes a variety of data including social security and credit card numbers, marketing plans, and proprietary forumulas.
Data Discover is available as a standalone offering or as part of the San Diego, Calif.-based company’s Data Security Suite version 6.5 (formerly Websense Content Protection Suite).
