SolarWinds says the next version of its IP Address Manager will give network managers more power to manage their IP infrastructure.
Appliance-based DDI solutions are costly, time-intensive and require a ‘rip and replace’ approach to existing infrastructure, SolarWinds vice-president Sanjay Castelino said in a statement. “SolarWinds is delivering IT pros a better DDI management option — an extension of best-in-class IP infrastructure plus centralized management at a fraction of the price.”
The company said the new IPAM solution lets administrators manage the entire IP infrastructure from a single Web console; get integrated Microsoft DHCP and DNS and Cisco DHCP management and monitoring; gain detailed visibility into IP address space usage; and quickly troubleshoot IP address problems.
The IPAM application integrates with SolarWinds’ product integration, including Network Performance Manager and Network Configuration Manager.
The new version will be released the evening of Dec. 5.
Pricing starts at US$1,995 for managing up to 1,024 IP addresses. At the top end, IPAM IPX for managing an unlimited number of addresses costs US$1,4995. There’s also a downloadable free 30-day trial version.
