SeeFile Software LLC is shipping Release 4.0 of its Macintosh collaboration software, which includes new approval workflow.
The Boston-based vendor, which announced the release at MacWorld Expo, says SeeFile4 runs on any OSX Macintosh machine, and provides a continuous view of all digital files saved on the hard disk. Designed for professionals in print, photography and video industries, SeeFile4 includes administrative tools designed to create user accounts and approval workflows.
It has an embedded PostGres SQL database and supports DWF, Flash and a range of RAW files. A 30-day trial version can be downloaded free of charge, and pricing ranges from US$499 to US$4,995, depending on the number of user licenses. Bundled server systems, including a Mac mini server with 1 TB of storage, are available starting at US$1,495.
