Facing mounting anxiety among the public, developers and in the financial markets, Research in Motion Ltd. has steadily been releasing a trickle of information about its new BB10 devices. Whether this will be enough to tide them over until the official release date is a burning question, but in fairness, the information they have released does sound intriguing.
For example, RIM told the Wall Street Journal this week that there would be a total of six BB10-equipped devices, including keyboard and touch-screen models. Now, RIM has revealed that these devices will have resolutions of 1280×720 (16:9) and 720×720, respectively. The touch-screen model will have a leg up on Apple’s Retina display, TechVibes notes.
