Quorum expands CRM reach for car dealers

A Calgary-based maker of car dealer customer management software has expanded the number of third-party automotive-related applications that it integrates with. to improve service to dealerships and their customers.

Quorum Information Technologies said this week that its XSellerator DMS suite now talks to izmocars’ iLM lead management system and DealerSocket Inc.’s DealerSocket CRM.

The izmocars system handles leads from any Internet source, Quorum said in a news release, helping dealers meet the requirements of manufacturer programs such as General Motors’s (GM) OneSource. Dealers can add customer information into XSellerator once the lead becomes a showroom prospect.

“Most consumers today use the Internet to shop for vehicles and make initial contact with the dealership,” Mark Allen, Quorum’s vice president of sales, marketing and services said in a statement. “Their expectations in terms of response times are very high. Quorum’s strategy to best serve our customers was to leverage the vast experience of izmocars in integrating leads from sources all across the Internet, and to focus on the direct integration with our DMS, XSellerator.

izmocars, he noted, maintains certifications with all of vehicle manufacturers which are required for handling leads that are generated through their programs.

Quorum customers that choose to use DealerSocket will have automated data feeds from XSellerator to the DealerSocket CRM, and deals created in DealerSocket can be electronically pushed back to XSellerator to complete and book the sale.
