Compaq Canada Inc. has launched the Compaq Deskpro EX commercial desktop personal computer.
The PC features Intel Celeron and Pentium III processors with speeds ranging from 566MHz to 800MHz, memory configurations up to 128MB and a variety of component options including the latest graphics offerings from NVIDIA.
The Deskpro EX series will offer new models quarterly.
This release comes at the end of a redesign and simplification of its commercial desktop by Compaq Canada, according to the company.
Pricing for the Compaq Deskpro EX PC (www.compaq.ca/english/business/deskpro/ex_series.htm) starts at $1,099. The PC is available in either a desktop or minitower chassis.
