Oracle to buy Xsigo for data centre fabric

The stampede to buy SDN startups is accelerating, with Oracle Corp. the latest to make a move by striking a deal for Xsigo Systems. The company said Xsigo’s tools will be combined with Oracle VM server’s virtualization technology.
 
Last week VMware said it will pay $1.26 billion for Nicira.
