Software company Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL), today announced yet another cloud services-focused partnership, this time with Web-based business software maker NetSuite Inc. (NYSE:N)
The tie-up is the third one inked by Oracle this week. On Tuesday, Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) and oracle signed an agreement that would allow business users to run Oracle software on Windows Server Hyper-V and Windows Azure.
Online customer relations management solution firm Salesforce.com (NYE-CRM) also signed a comprehensive nine-year partnership with Oracle this week that would integrate its Fusion HCM and Financial Cloud technologies to Salesforce.com’s applications and platform.
The NetSuite-Oracle partnership will focus on integrating NetSuite’s enterprise resource planning services with Oracle’s human resources software to provide a suite of tools for mid-sized companies.

Oracle is considered the number three software maker worldwide. However, the company has fallen behind smaller rivals especially in the cloud computing space. The latest round of partnerships is seen as Oracle’s move to develop a greater cloud computing presence.
