LOAD BALANCE MULTIPLE FIREWALLS
FireProof is a non-proprietary, dynamic, load-balancing system for multiple firewalls and other security services, said RADWARE/RND Networks.
RND said the product is capable of connecting thousands of firewalls regardless of vendor type. It is said to intelligently balance traffic between the firewalls, continually monitoring each box for problems. RND said FireProof provides full fault tolerance, redirecting all requests to another firewall if one fails.
FireProof is said to operate at the Layer 2 level, not with traditional IP addresses. RND said this allows complete compatibility with transparent devices such as routers.
FireProof pricing starts at US$6,500.
