“Interactive” and “user-friendly” are important features in the consumer market, but the corporate network testing market is a few steps behind.
Mississauga, Ont.-based Fluke Electronics Canada Inc. is trying to change that with the release its new icon-based OneTouch Series II Network Assistant family of Web-enabled handheld test tools.
Although the interactive touch-screen feature on the Series II is a key ease-of-use element, Fluke’s director of marketing David H. Green said that user-friendliness is stressed, but “not over-played because it’s really what [OneTouch] does against how you interface with it that is critical.”
