A Montreal-based business intelligence firm has jumped on the consolidation bandwagon by merging with the Canadian subsidiary of an international company it hopes will provide wider exposure to the customer bases of Cognos and Microsoft.
Trilogia Solutions Inc. said it would become part of Keyrus Group, which operates in eight countries and employs more than 1,000 people. As part of the deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, Trilogia will integrate with Keyrus’s Canadian subsidiary. Keyrus highlighted Trilogia’s presence in the Canadian pharmaceutical sector as one of the key benefits of the merger.
Keyrus also said Trilogia would complement its expertise in Microsoft and Cognos BI technologies. Cognos was acquired by IBM last week.
