Microsoft updates C++ compiler

A Microsoft Corp. official has let it be known that the company is updating its compiler for the recently-released Visual Studio 2012 Windows application developers can some of the latest version of the C++ programming language.

According to a report from ComputerWorld U.S., the new batch compiler was described during a talk about the future of the language at the Microsoft Build conference. Further C++11 functions will be added next year.
 
According to a Microsoft Web page, which offers a preview download of the updated compiler, new features include uniform initialization, initializer lists, variadic templates, function template default arguments, delegating constructors, explicit conversion operators and raw strings.
