Linx/AS LLC is shipping WorkSafe Suite, a workplace safety software package with modules for hazardous substance control, accident reporting and injury claims management. Linx/AS, based in King of Prussia, Penn., developed the software by using SAP AG’s NetWeaver to enable Web browser access to SAP’s Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) application.
WorkSafe Suite allows different users access to different data and functions, depending on their roles.
Using the HAZCON module, EH&S administrators can input data on work areas, such as labs and plants. Examples of data include the authorized substances, authorized workers, authorized buyers for controlled agents and material safety data sheets.
The WorkSafe Events module lets administrators provide entry interfaces for reports, maintain accident or illness logs and include ad hoc workflows, such as accident investigations and monthly site inspections.
