Fujitsu Canada debuts first network scanner

Fujitsu Canada announced today its first network scanner, which will offer 25 pages-per-minute network scanning capabilities.

The Fujitsu fi-6000NS colour duplex network scanner also features a small footprint, and a user-friendly interface that includes a full keyboard and a large touch-screen display. It has support for scanning to e-mail, network folder, and network fax server support, which saves space by eliminating unneeded printers and fax machines and money by cutting down on paper waste.

Document sharing is a key feature, which, Fujitsu said, will be an especially good fit with medical and real estate offices, law firms, university administration, warehouses, and the government. Security features ensure that document management is secure. PDFs can be both searchable, and password-protected.

The Fujitsu fi-6000NS has a list price of $3,195 Canadian, and is available now from the company’s resellers.
