Unified threat management company Fortinet has announced a partnership with network management software vendor AlterPoint and policy server company Exaprotect. Under the partnership, Foritnet’s FortiGate UTM platform will be integrated with NetworkAuthority, AlterPoint’s network automation and configuration management product. This, according to the company, will simplify management of Fortinetdevices in multi-vendor environments with more than 500 networking components. Exaprotect’s Solsoft Policy Management Server will be integrated with FortiGat appliances for centralized policy management in multi-vendor network environments, according to the company. It can also provide in-depth audit reports for compliance, the company said.
