This workshop, sponsored by Industry Canada and organized by Precarn Inc., will focus on the challenges associated with introducing intelligent technologies into buildings. Plenary and breakout sessions will encourage a frank exchange of views. Participants, including technology developers, equipment suppliers, building designers, owners, operators, contractors and tenants, will be asked to propose specific initiatives to overcome risk or to foster collaboration. Proceedings will be published and distributed to decision-makers in industry and government.
