PFS TraderTools LLC based in New York has announced the release of its Trillian data transport mechanism, a patent-pending technology that delivers streaming financial data and any other information to a standard Web browser or Internet client through a firewall without the need for a download or refreshing the Web page. The company said that with Trillian, any remote laptop with access to the Web can receive the same market information received on a desktop – and trade as well – without special software. The company said that although other messaging technologies can penetrate firewalls through remote HTTP tunneling, Trillian’s technology uses a proprietary method of HTTP to keep a constant connection open. Trillian is available now and pricing starts at US$25,000 on a per client/server basis. For more information visit www.tradertools.com.
