March 7-13, 2004 is Global Business Continuity Awareness Week, an international initiative to promote the awareness of and need for business continuity in the business community and beyond. The week of events is sponsored by Business Continuity Institute (BCI), G.T.A. The day-long event begins at 10 a.m. at the Royal Bank Auditorium, 315 Front St. W., Toronto. Topics include crisis communications, the realities of an emergency response program, public communications, how large companies manage communications, and initial SARS learnings.
