Cloud talent acquisition company updates platform

iCIMS Inc. has updated its cloud-based talent acquisition software solution to include a new recruitment CRM product called Connect, enhanced Social Apply capabilities, greater resume parsing capabilities.

These have been added to version 12.2 of the company’s Talent Platform, which includes three modules: Recruit, Onboard the new Connect. Customers can subscribe separately to each.

iCIMS modules can be subscribed to in Canada through Workoplis.

Headquartered in Matawan, N.J., iCIMS said in a statement that the 12.2 release augments the social capabilities introduced to the Talent Platform’s core functionality put out earlier this year.

With the latest release job seekers have the option to apply for jobs using their Google+ account, the company said, in addition to the previously available options of Facebook and LinkedIn.

Candidates who apply with their LinkedIn profiles can also link a second social media account, such as Google+ or Facebook, to provide a richer view of their experience and education.

Meanwhile, recruiters on LinkedIn will be able to search candidates, view profiles, filter results, and link a candidate’s LinkedIn profile alongside iCIMS’ platform.

“Our customers are facing a new generation of candidates that has changed the way sourcing and recruiting is done,” said Paul Melici, iCIMS’s CTO. “With iCIMS Talent Platform 12.2, HR professionals gain the latest tools needed to leverage social media and traditional recruitment tools in order to attract, screen, and hire top talent.”

iCIMS Connect lets job seekers share their social media profile or resume with a company before jobs are available. Companies can store this contact information.

Recruit lets companies post openings and identify job candidates, while Onboard is aimed at helping integrate new hires.

According to the company, Canadian customers include TransAlta Corp. of Calgary, Capcom Game Studio Vancouver, Cenovus Energy, Inc. and LGE Canada.

iCIMS recently named Workopolis as the company’s exclusive Canadian reseller, and said it will build a data centre here and provide French language support for customers.

The two companies also said iCIMS’ Talent Platform will power the next version of Workopolis’ existing applicant tracking system (ATS).

Workopolis is a partnership between the Toronto Star and a division of Power Corp.
