Ken Barker has joined O&Y CB Richard Ellis, a provider of outsourced corporate real estate and facilities management services, as Director of Information Technology Solutions, with responsibility for the company’s IT infrastructure, applications and networks. Based in Toronto, Mr. Barker’s major challenge will be to develop and implement an enterprise IT strategy which will further align the company’s IT investments with the business goals and objectives of the organization. Mr. Barker spent the last ten years with various consulting firms, assisting large private and public organizations in the delivery of measurable business results through the use of IT.
Amyn Somani is the new Vice President, Information Systems, for Panago Pizza Inc. He will be located primarily in Burnaby and Abbotsford, British Columbia. As the company executes a national expansion strategy, Mr. Somani will by focussed on designing and implementing the business processes and systems to support rapid growth and an extension of operating footprint. Before joining Panago, Mr. Somani spent five years at Telus Services Partnership, the IT services division of Telus Corporation, most recently as Director, Private Sector Practice.
