Kevin Whyte has been appointed Chief Information Officer – Wealth Management for TD Bank Financial Group. Mr. Whyte held the post of VP & Director Information Technology at RBC Investments/Dominion Securities for six years, and he was VP & Director Information Technology at Richardson Greenshields for 15 years. Based in Toronto, Mr. Whyte’s mandate is “to deliver a world-class integrated technology platform to support the growing TD Wealth Management business”.

Dante Scocchia is the new VP, Technology Services, for CGI. Based in Mississauga, Ont, Mr. Scocchia was previously VP, Network and Computing Services, for Purolator, a position he held for three years. He also worked at Purolator from 1982 to 1995. Mr. Scocchia describes his major challenge in the new job as “competition in the Outsourcing industry”.

Mark Lampert has been named Senior Vice President, Global Technology Services – Canada, for Marsh Canada Limited. He is based in Toronto. Mr. Lampert was formerly Vice President Finance & Information Technology for Signature Vacations Inc., Toronto, where he worked for seven years.
