Breakout Software last month announced the release of MonitorIT version 4.0, which offers a WinServicesWatch component to monitor services on Windows NT and 2000 servers and workstations. The Scotch Plains, N.J.-based company said that 4.0 also comes with a new e-mail group address feature for easier management of e-mail alert recipients; customizable e-mail alert text; and maximum alert notifications per incident and reporting and charting enhancements.
