In an attempt to combine personalization with security, Entrust Inc. released the latest version of its “secure Web portal solution.” This package designed for enterprise deployment gives companies greater control over client identification, privacy and verification on Web portals. The release coincides with Entrust’s recent remake of its GetAccess software, an entitlement program that now supports wireless users as well as conventionally connected users. Entrust bundles GetAccess with TruePass and Entrust Authority in its solution combo. Together the software handles entitlements, digital signatures and identification, plus it works with a variety of portal application providers’ products, including those from Epicentric, PeopleSoft and Sun.
