BlackBerry maker teams up with CGS

New York-based Computer Generated Solutions Inc. (CGS) has become the newest partner in Research in Motion Ltd.’s (RIM)

RIM to launch WiFi-enabled BlackBerry

BlackBerry alliance program.

The BlackBerry Solution Provider Alliance Program will allow the Waterloo, Ont.-based handheld maker to assist CGS in the development of BlackBerry compatible applications. As part of the partnership, CGS will also have access to preview RIM’s beta software as well as participate in development round tables on BlackBerry development.

CGS said the agreement will help it further utilize its expertise in developing enterprise mobile applications and managing complex IT deployments. It expects to expand its mobile offerings and increase the return on investment for CSG clients.
