Phone maker Alcatel One Touch, today announced the Canadian availability of two new smart phones, its flagship Idol X and the Idol Mini, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The Idol X is a slim handset is only 6.9 milimetres thin and comes with a bright 5-inch 1080p full-HD IPS display. The phone is powered by an Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and has a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. The Idol X comes with a 13 MP camera and MicroSD slot for up to 32GB of storage.
The Idol Mini is the smallest member of the Idol smart phone line. It has a 4.3-inch touchscreen and is about 7.9 millimetres thins. It has a 5 MP camera, comes with a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and the Android 4.2 OS. The phone comes with a choice of 4GB or 8GB internal storage and a MicroSD slot that holds up to 32GB.
Alcatel said the Idol X and Idol Mini will be available to Canadian users through Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile Canada in the coming weeks.
