A 27-year-old accused hacker faces up to 30 years in prison over information the U.S. government alleges was stolen from an international intelligence brokerage. Jeremy Hammond has been held without bail since March in the hacking of Austin, Texas, firm Strategic Forecasting and theft of data from about 860,000 of its subscribers, allegedly by hacking group AntiSec. AntiSec is a spinoff of LulzSec, which in turn is a spinoff of Anonymous, the notorious worldwide hacktivist group.
