I am a recognized leader in data and innovation, with a strength in understanding the role that data plays within an organization. With growing concerns around privacy combined with the exploding fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, it is important to properly assess and evaluate how organizations can take advantage of the new trends in data. My background in data science is the foundation to understanding these trends, quickly innovating with purpose, and then building long-term roadmaps. Moreover, I have proven to be effective at connecting people and resources, both internal and across organizations in order to create value.

Throughout the last few years, I have:

• Assessed new trends in data, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence to determine the true value and potential to the business
• Business development in harnessing new data or machine learning techniques across lines of business
• Evaluated new fintechs and startups for investment potential
• Screened analytics companies for capabilities and compatibility
• Acted as a champion for data usage, innovation, and governance at the enterprise level
• Understood and tackled the challenges around data usage in the banking sector
• Driven recruiting efforts and innovation in attracting top data talent
• Presented in front of large crowds (100+) and executive audiences

In addition to my expertise in data strategy, I am also passionate about mathematics, education, and encouraging girls to pursue STEM fields. Through the school year, I am the lead organizer for Toronto Math Circles, and I am a regular lecturer for various organizations targeting students between grades 5 – 12. I firmly believe that businesses can play a more prominent role in STEM education and developing our next generation of leaders and innovators.
