Dr. Quanzhong Li is the co-founder and CTO of Pachira Communications, Inc. He has been leading the development of speech technology, data analytics, and natural language understanding since the company was founded in 2010. Based on those technologies, the company has successfully released products such as “Qianyu” speech recognition platform, “Qianxun” speech data analytics, and “Clear voice” solution for automotive. Dr. Li received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Peking University, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Arizona. Before founding the company, he had been a research staff member at IBM Almaden Research Center. Dr. Li has filed more than ten patents and published many papers at top database conferences and journals, such as VLDB, ICDE, TKDE, CIDR, and WWW. In 2012, Dr. Li was awarded as the “Distinguished Experts” and “High Caliber-Talent from Overseas”, the highest award to overseas talents by the Beijing municipal government.
