I am a cognitive psychologist by training, now working in computer science. My current project is focusing on Responsible Research and Innovation in the ICT community. Coming from a research background in cognitive abilities, I am interested in the interaction of humans with technologies.
As part of my work I organize and help delivering workshops on Responsible Innovation at many universities and institutions across the UK. Moreover I am the Managing Editor of the ORBIT Journal for Responsible Research and Innovation. My role also includes organizing conferences and events for the project. For instance, I organized the conference ‘Building in the Good – creating positive ICT futures’. The event was focused on AI and ethics and got together AI experts and policy makers. Finally, I have also been involved in other Responsible Innovation-related activities such as a webinar on ethics in ICT with BCS (British Computer Society).
