HP has released new versions of the products under the umbrella of its Business Service Management category. The vendor is shipping Operations Center 8.0, Network Management Center 8.0, Business Availability Center 7.0 and Universal Configuration Management Database 7.0.
Operations Center 8.0 links with Universal Configuration Management Database to help IT managers understand the impact on the business. HP says this helps eliminate duplication by providing information on infrastructure and server problems.
Network Management Center is designed to help IT staff deal with network device changes. Version 8.0 lets administrators view a console of network problems requiring action based on recent change to network topology, and is designed to help them find problems in the network devices that link elements of composite applications.
