The CPX 4.0 can carry out a packet-level indexing and retrieving functions with search tools enabling a retrospective search for evidence of threats such as zero-day malware, according to Tim Sullivan, CEO of nPulse. The product sells for $100,000.
The CPX 4.0 essentially works as a “DVR (digital video recorder) for network traffic,” he said.
