Zoom’s privacy blunders push businesses to look for alternatives

Zoom has been in hot water lately over its privacy policies after it was caught using users’ data for advertising purposes without their consent.

As a result, many businesses are now looking for more privacy-focused alternatives to Zoom.

One of such options include Jitsi Meet, a open-source video conferencing platform that is free to use and offers end-to-end encryption. It’s also very easy to set up and use.

Another is Google Meet which offers integration with other Google services. Although Google does collect some user data, so it’s not as privacy-focused as some other options.

Microsoft Teams, a more comprehensive collaboration tool than just a video conferencing platform is also another alternative. It offers good video conferencing features and is integrated with the Microsoft 365 suite of productivity apps.

Zoho Meeting is also a good option for businesses that are already using other Zoho business apps. It’s also very affordable, starting at just $10 per month for up to 250 attendees.
