Debbie O’Bray has been named Chair, Project Management Institute (PMI) for 2003. Based in Winnipeg, she is a founder and past President of the Manitoba Chapter.
Ms. O’Bray received a PMI Presidential Citation for her contributions to project management standards development in 1995, and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999. Prior to be being named Chair, Ms. O’Bray held the positions of Secretary-Treasurer, Vice Chair, and Chair of Strategic Planning and Program Alignment. As Chair, Ms. O’Bray will lead the Board as it defines PMI’s vision and strategy for the future. PMI is a global organization with nearly 100,000 members in 125 countries.
Andrea C. Bodnar has been named Vice President and Chief Information Officer (global) for MDS Inc, a company that provides products, services and information for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. She is located in Toronto. For the past four years, Ms. Bodnar was Director, Technology Operations for American Express Inc., based in New York City.
