Lexington, Ky.-based Lexmark International Inc. is seeing blue with the launch of its redesigned Z Series of printers for home and small office users. Typically beige in colour, the new printers are an off-white colour with cobalt blue paper trays. These printers, the third generation of Z Series inkjet printers, are available now and come in four models – the Z22, Z33, Z43 and Z53 Color Jetprinters. Useable with Windows, Macintosh and Linux systems, the printers have been outfitted with the Lexmark Accu-Feed paper handling system and can handle print media weighing up to 150 pounds, including envelopes, transparencies, card stock, labels and iron-on transfers. The peer-to-peer networking capabilities allow users to send print jobs to printers in another room or office. Pricing for the printers is $59 after a $40 mail-in rebate for the Z22, $129 for the Z33, $159 for the Z43 and $199 after a $40 mail-in rebate for the Z53.
