2003 Canadian IT Financing Forum East
When it comes to IT, the Canadian IT Financing Forum is the largest venture capital fundraising showcase in the country. Last year’s event attracted over 300 participants, including 120 venture capital and corporate investors from Canada, the U.S. and Norway representing $70 billion capital under management. This year, 34 of Canada’s hottest IT, electronics, wireless and Internet growth companies, seeking $1 million to $50 million in private financing, will be selected to present their financial and strategic interests. In addition, a new Canadian IT Emerging Companies Exhibition will be launched where up to 50 companies may demo their products at Internet-equipped booths. Panel presentations, a “Meet the Investors” session and Exhibitors Jury Findings will also be featured. At the end of the event, investors will award the top Presenting and Exhibiting Companies.
