Research in Motion announced today a new certification program that will give people a certification testing service in support of the BlackBerry wireless platform.
The new BlackBerry Certification Program will measure the skills and knowledge utilized for BlackBerry deployments.
The program will be available in 135 countries, where it will be geared toward IT professionals, consultants, wireless carriers, and BlackBerry partners.
The three different types of certification programs are BlackBerry Certified System Administrator, BlackBerry Server Support, and BlackBerry Certified Support Specialist, and will be available in 2008.
2009 will see the addition of more certification programs, including BlackBerry Certified Enterprise Application Developer, BlackBerry Certified Trainer, BlackBerry Sales Expert and BlackBerry Expert User.
