Challenges still face mainstream wireless

Last year The Yankee Group estimated that 20 per cent of the U.S. work force was mobile. This year, IDC predicted that by the end of 2006 roughly two-thirds of U.S. workers will be mobile workers. Cahners In-Stat Group reported that as of August 2001, more than 60 million US employees used some sort of wireless device, primarily cell phones, for business purposes.
