Born in Quebec in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has captivated audiences around the world with its exotic blend of circus arts, street entertainment, music, costuming and lighting. Over the years the company has graduated from an 800-seat blue and yellow ‘big top’ to three permanent state-of-the-art theatres (two in Las Vegas and one in Orlando) and five touring shows, still under the ‘big top’ but now seating 2,600 people.
