IT services provider Skyway Software is partnering with SpringSource, a move that will augment its commitment to open standards, scalable platforms, and software development flexibility, the Tampa, Florida-based company said.
SpringSource is the company behind the Java application platform Spring Portfolio.
Skyway will become the first application-delivery ISV certified by SpringSource and integrates Spring into Skyway Visual Perspectives, at development tool which uses Eclipse to create rich internet applications and Web services.
Skyway Software will resell SpringSource software and technical support subscriptions with Skyway Visual Perspectives.
Also, the company announced it is extending support for the Eclipse community with the release of Skyway Builder Community Edition (CE), an opensource development set of plugins built for use within the Eclipse Framework.
